This year the Tuwharetoa Maori Trust Board are allocating twenty (20) fishing licenses (individual or whanau) and six (6) boat ramp permits to our marae.  The 2024/2025 fishing season commences on 1 July 2024.

Please note that there is an expectation that those who receive these licenses will support their marae by providing trout for events such as hui, tangihanga and provide kai to our kaumatua.

Tamariki Hī Ika - Child Fishing Licenses

In addition to the above, theTuwharetoa Maori Trust Board are continuing to support the provision of the annual child fishing licenses for tamariki under 18 years on 1 July 2024.  To receive the tamariki license, please make an appointment with the Tuwharetoa Maori Trust Board to attend either of their offices in Turangi or Taupo with your tamaiti/tamariki present.
